Pen tray, wide

The wider form of the Pen tray: a rounded channel for pens along one side, and beside it a shallow well for paper clips, a key, an eraser. Its outer faces follow the Relief grid: one square, repeated, each joint holding a thin line of shadow, while the surfaces where things rest stay smooth. Cast by hand in a silicone mould from white cement, marble sand and pigment, the concrete is coloured through its whole mass. Fine pores and pale flecks remain in the surface, different on every piece.
