A low square block for a single tealight, set in a round well at its centre. Its outer faces follow the Relief grid: one square, repeated, each joint holding a thin line of shadow, while the surfaces where things rest stay smooth. Cast by hand in a silicone mould from white cement, marble sand and pigment, the concrete is coloured through its whole mass. Fine pores and pale flecks remain in the surface, different on every piece.

- Through-coloured concrete: white cement, marble sand, pigment
- Finish
- Surface left as cast, breathable penetrating sealer, buffed beeswax and carnauba wax
- Care
- Dust with a dry cloth or wipe with a damp one. No solvents or abrasives. When the surface looks dry, buff in a thin coat of natural wax. Burn tealights in their cups only and never leave a flame unattended.
- Serial
- Each piece is hand-numbered and registered with the studio. A card accompanies every object
